Melanie joined TWG Capital as chief financial officer concurrent with Cardinal Growth’s investment in July 2003. With more than 16 years of accounting and finance experience, she quickly moved into the president role in early 2004.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University, Melanie spent five years in public accounting at KPMG Peat Marwick. She then joined Union Acceptance Corporation (UAC) as the senior vice president of finance. Melanie spent much of her early time at UAC establishing warehouse finance facilities for UAC’s various product tiers and administering its securitization programs in addition to managing the overall accounting functions.
Melanie’s audit background and extensive experience with institutional investors and rating agencies has given her the skills to create a scalable infrastructure at TWG Capital – one based on a strong, control-focused foundation.
